Since dropping out of college my life as I knew it would change. The days of explosive classroom debates and insomnia filled nights were no more. All of my youthful potential and energy were being geared towards running errands and household duties. If I ever wanted to change my middle name it would be screw up. 2018 were some of the darkest days of my life.

Owing $2,000 to Borough of Manhattan Community College and having no place of employment my only outlets of upliftment was a composition notebook and a pen. Twenty-five years on this earth and I have never been on an airplane or out of the country. But the minute I started blogging it was as if I took a portal to places I would never imagine. Canada, Brazil, Russia, South Korea, and even Australia were some of the countries that have viewed my work. I will be forever grateful for the international support.

My relationship with the pen and page goes back to some turbulent times in 2015. I was going through some accusations by my former step-father on top of being pushed into Family Court. Not knowing what to do the only thing I could do was write down my issues and problems I was having at the time. Even when I looked back at old notes and essays from high school I saw a unique set of writing skills. So whether or not I become a best selling author for the New York Times me and the pen will never sperate.

After all the stuff that I been through between the years 2015 to 2018 a lot of lesson were given. Looking back, although I went through hell going through the fire was worth it. Friends became foes. Mentors became adversaries. True characters were revealed. All things happen for a reason.

Here in 2020 I have gained the important element of balance. Every topic known to our society I developed my own interpretation of it. I don't put labels on people. If I ever have a disagreement with a person I just dust my shoes off and keep it moving. While riding the trains I have conversations with people that stop time itself. Hopefully, my work awards you this experience in it's entirety.
